New York State Contact Tracing

The New York State Contact Tracing Program works with confirmed positive COVID-19 people to determine who they have been in contact with. Trained specialists reach out to those contacts about possible exposure. If you have been identified as a contact you will get a call from “NYS Contact Tracing” (518-387-9993).

Hospital-Based and Community Events

Out of an abundance of caution and in response to the prevalence of coronavirus, all non-essential public events—such as lectures, support groups and other community outreach programs—are canceled.

The region’s need for blood donors continues at this time. Although blood drives originally scheduled to be held at CHS facilities had to be canceled, Long Island Blood Services has extended the hours at its donation centers. You can donate blood by appointment. Please call 800-933-2566 to reserve a time. To ensure your facility is properly credited for donation, please use your appropriate group code below.
